1,000 years ago, an evil Santa lost a bet to an angel, where he agreed to be good and bring joy to the world. Now that the wager is over, Santa intends on going back to his evil ways. While Santa starts his rampage, Nicolas, realizes there’s more to his grandfather than being the crazy, old man in town. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Santa’s Slay”.

· After Mr. Green is found murdered in the deli, Nicolas is taken to the police station. He walks into Captain Caulk’s office and sits down. On the desk in front of him, there is a model police car to the left of the name plate with the front facing Nicolas’ left. In the front view of Captain Caulk, when he starts to explain about the eyewitness reports about Santa, the model police car is facing the opposite direction, toward the right.

· Also during this scene, the captain’s name plate switches position on his desk throughout the scene. It switches from being to the side of the model police car to behind it. In the front view of the captain, when he places Nicolas’ clock on the desk and mentions he knows how to tell time, the name plate is horizontal behind the model police car. When Nicolas says, “I know it sounds crazy, but you have to believe me”, the name plate is vertical on the desk and the clock is now sitting on the edge of the desk in front of Nicolas. The name plate is back to being behind the model police car when Nicolas grabs the clock from the desk. The clock has also changed position on the desk—originally being on Nicolas’ left when it was in front of him (to the rear of the police car)---to being on his right (in front of the police car) when he picks it up.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! During the curling battle between Grandpa and Santa near the end of the movie, Grandpa goes first and his curling stone ends up at the edge of the hole Santa created in the ice. A moment later, Santa grabs Grandpa and tosses him towards the hole. As he skids across the ice, Grandpa’s curling stone is shown and it’s now a couple feet from the hole. He hits it, sending it skidding across the ice.

“Santa’s Slay” (2005) stars Bill Goldberg, Robert Culp, Douglas Smith, Emilie de Ravin, Dave Thomas, Saul Rubinek, Rebecca Gayheart, Chris Kattan, Fran Drescher, James Caan, and Tom Lister Jr. It runs 78 minutes and is rated R for violence, language and some sexuality/nudity.
